Kensington Hatchery visit
It was a fine day for a visit at the Kensington Hatchery. I wish I had taken some pictures, but I was too busy taking in the view. CRSA was well represented at the tour – Roger Plourde, Hal Gorman, Dick Bell, Jim Carroll, Jim Glista and I plus several Salmon-in-Schools teachers who thankfully check their work email during the summer. I’m sure the salmon were happy we stopped by. Thanks to our Vin Ringrose (also CRSA board member and Fisheries Advisory Council President) for arranging the event and to DEEP Inland Fisheries Division for their gracious hosting and letting us wander around the site.
