A native of Connecticut, Bob Jones graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management. He retired in 1992 from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, where he served as Chief of the Bureau of Fisheries and Wildlife. Prior to that, he served as Director of the Fisheries Division. Bob has served on several committees of the Connecticut River Anadromous Fisheries Restoration Program, and was a Commissioner to the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission from 1979 to 1992. He chaired the commission from 1987 to 1989. He was Connecticut's official representative to the New England Fisheries Management Council and served as its chairman from 1979-1981 and from 1990-1992. He is a commissioner of the Connecticut River Atlantic Salmon Commission, a member of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection Fisheries Advisory Council, and a former commissioner of the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organization (NASCO). He has been a member of the Connecticut River Salmon Association Board of Directors since 1992, and was elected president of the organization in 1998. He is a resident of South Windsor, Connecticut.
Dick Bell is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, and is currently Of Counsel to Typer Cooper & Alcorn in New Haven. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Connecticut Bar Foundation. Dick currently chairs the board of directors of Yale-New Haven Hospital, and serves on the board of directors of the Yale-New Haven Health Services Corp., the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, the Shubert Performing Arts Center, and the Regional Leadership Council. He serves as secretary of the Regional Growth Partnership and the Science Park Development Corporation. In the past, he has served as chairman/president of the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, the Connecticut Valley Hospital, Fellowship, Inc., the United Way of Greater New Haven, and the New Haven County Bar Association. He is a former vice chairman of the board of the New Haven Symphony and the North Haven Board of Education. He is a resident of North Haven, Connecticut.
Gerry Feinberg is a graduate of Lafayette College and the University of Bridgeport School of Law. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1986, and is currently in private practice in North Haven, Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, and currently serves a a member of the North Haven Board of Education. He is a former commissioner of the North Haven Community Services Commission and a former director of North Haven Community Advocates for a Responsible Education System, Inc., an educational advocacy group. He is a resident of North Haven, Connecticut.
A native of southern Florida, Jim Carroll grew up in Old Lyme, Connecticut and is a graduate of Phillips Academy and Yale University. He retired from the Dexter Nonwovens Division of the Dexter Corporation in Windsor Locks, Connecticut in 1995, after serving in management positions with the company for 35 years. Jim is a member of the Advisory Board of the Donald F. Harris AgriScience and Technology Center (one of three Vo/Ag Aquaculture High Schools in Connecticut). He also serves on the Vo/Ag Schools Advisory Board to the Connecticut State Department of Higher Education. He is a section member of the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organization Commission, and is an active member of the Farmington River Angler's Association, the Connecticut Fly Fishing Association, the Miramichi Salmon Association, the Atlantic Salmon Federation, the Coastal Conservation Association and the Limestone Trout Club of East Canaan. He is a resident of West Hartford, Connecticut. |
