One Salmon Per Day!
We have heard stories of people taking advantage of the 1 fish per day regulations that started December 1st. Some claiming that they just had a bucket full of big trout. If you witness any people taking multiple salmon a day please call 1-800-842-4357 to register the crime with the DEEP.
This leads to other questions that have been posed:
1. Do you believe we need more signage of the regulations on the rivers?
2. Do you believe we need more conservation officers patrolling the rivers?
3. Do you believe the “Catch and Release’ period for Atlantic Salmon should be increased in Connecticut?
